Chairman and Ceo, Coach

Lew Frankfort, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Coach, Inc., has successfully built Coach into the premier American accessories brand with
annual sales of over $1.4 billion. In October, 1999, Mr. Frankfort brought the
company into the e-commerce arena with the launch of Coach.com, providing
an additional image-enhancing environment where Coach customers
could shop. In addition, Mr. Frankfort oversaw Coach's transition to a
publicly traded company listed on the New York Stock Exchange. Mr.
Frankfort began his career with Coach in 1979 as Vice President of New
Business Development, and was instrumental in growing the number of
retail stores and expanding into international markets. In 1985, Coach was
acquired by Sara Lee Corporation and he was appointed President of
Coach. In 1995, Mr. Frankfort was named Chairman and CEO of Coach. He
was also a Senior Vice President of Sara Lee Corporation. In addition to his
responsibilities at Coach from 1991-96, Mr. Frankfort served in several group
officer positions in Sara Lee Corporation, including Champion U.S. and
Europe business, as well as its Intimates & Accessories (North America) business.
Prior to his corporate career, Mr. Frankfort held various positions in the
public sector, spending ten years in New York City government. For three of
those years, he served as Commissioner of the Agency for Child Development
and helped restore New York's Head Start and day care programs during
the fiscal crisis of the mid-1970s. Mr. Frankfort holds a Bachelor of Arts
degree from Hunter College and an MBA in Marketing from Columbia University.
