Alessandra Galloni is Italy Correspondent and European Luxury Goods Writer at The Wall Street Journal/The Wall Street Journal Europe. After working for six years at The Associated Press and Reuters news agencies in Rome and London, she joined the Wall Street Journal in 2001 as European advertising and media reporter out of the London bureau. Galloni has been the Italy correspondent since 2002, sharing an Overseas Press Club prize last year for coverage of the Parmalat scandal. She is currently covering the European luxury goods sector. Born in 1973 in Rome, Alessandra Galloni graduated from Harvard University in 1995 and received a Masters at the London School of Economics and Politics in 2002.
