His professional career started in 1992 in Renault Italy as District Manager and continued in Renault SA (Paris) where he covered different roles in the Marketing department until 1997 when he was appointed Product Manager for Clio. Later, in 1998, he moved to Toyota Europe to take responsibility for the launch of the Yaris model first and afterwards the Lexus Brand. His experience in Toyota ended in 2001 as a General Manager in Product Planning.In 2002 he joined the Fiat Group as Director for Lancia Marketing and became Vice President in the Lancia Business Unit in September 2004. He is currently responsible for the Brand Fiat.From February 2007, inside of Fiat Group SpA, has been nominated Chief Executive Officer.From September 2007, has been nominated Chief Marketing Officer of Fiat Group SpA.
