Alessandra GALLONI

Alessandra Galloni is The Wall Street Journal's Bureau Chief for Southern Europe, with responsibility for the global paper's coverage of France, Italy and Spain. Since joining the WSJ in 2001, she has held various posts, including European Luxury Goods Writer, Italy correspondent and European advertising and media reporter. She previously worked at The Associated Press and Reuters news agencies in Rome and London. Alessandra graduated from Harvard University in 1995 and received a Masters at the London School of Economics in 2002. In 2004, she won an Overseas Press Club prize and a British Journalist of the Year award for coverage of the Parmalat scandal.
