Paolo Fontanelli, 51 years old, from Florence, has been the Chief Executive Officer of Furla S.p.A since June 2007. He graduated with an honours degree in physics from the University of Florence, and specialized in Advanced Management at the SDA Bocconi University in Milan and also Harvard Business School.

During his career, Paolo Fontanelli has achieved significant experience in the fashion and luxury industry. He worked his way up at Salvatore Ferragamo Italia S.p.A to be the Director of Administration and the Finance Group Controller. He also served as Chief Financial Officer of Giorgio Armani S.p.A. and moved on to be the President and C.E.O of Giorgio Armani Hong Kong & Greater China.
