Head of Americas Retail Investment Banking Managing Director

Ms. Clyde has worked in investment banking for almost 20 years covering clients in the retail and consumer sectors.

Ms. Clyde heads the Retail Investment Banking Group for Bank of America Merrill Lynch and previously held the same role at Merrill Lynch from 2006 - January 2009. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch in 2005, Ms. Clyde was a Managing Director in Morgan Stanley's Retail and Consumer Products Group. Ms. Clyde spent eight years at Morgan Stanley and, prior to that, four years in Salomon Brothers' Retail Group.

Selected transactions include: IPOs for Restoration Hardware, Tilly’s, Teavana, Skullcandy, rue 21, Arezzo, Lululemon Athletica. Sally Beauty sponsored spin, equity and high yield offerings. Nike acquisitions of Hurley and Umbro. Sale of Converse to Nike. VF Corp’s acquisition of Seven Jeans and sale of intimates division. LBO and financings for Yankee Candle. High yield financings for Fifth & Pacific, Quiksilver, Oxford, Perry Ellis. Special Committee Advisor on Kenneth Cole LBO.

Ms. Clyde received an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from University of California, Los Angeles. In 2007, she was named by Dealmaker magazine as one of the top "40 under 40" dealmakers on Wall Street. Ms. Clyde chairs the U.S. Global Diversity Committee for BofAML’s Global Banking and Markets Organization. She lives in NYC and is married and has one son.
