Pedro LOURENÇO

Fashion Designer

Pedro Lourenço is a Brazilian fashion designer.

Born into a family with deep roots in fashion, Pedro emerged as a designer at the early age of 12.
He showed his first collection for the Brazilian brand Carlota Joakina during São Paulo fashion week
in 2002.

In 2008 Pedro moved to Paris, attending Studio Berçot to further his skills. Shortly thereafter he started work as a Junior Designer at Lanvin under the tutelage of Alber Elbaz.

It was in the spring of 2010 that Pedro launched his own label internationally, presenting his women’s ready-to-wear for the first time during Paris Fashion Week. In June 2011 the designer launched his first women’s Resort collection in New York. Since then he has been presenting four international women’s collections per year plus two Capsule collections, made especially for the Brazilian market.

Pedro Lourenço is the archetypal contemporary fashion designer.  He synthesises his yearning for technologically advanced fabrics and methods of production, with old world couture techniques, tailoring and materials, resulting in a very decisive vision.  His collections reflect his Brazilian heritage, his youthful and hopeful muse, as well as his desire for creating and developing urban couture.

Pedro recently collaborated with Swarovski on a Jewelry line and designed shoes for Melissa.

The Pedro Lourenço brand is has points of sale in selected department stores and multibrand concept stores worldwide.

Pedro Lourenco is 22 years old and works and resides between São Paulo and Paris.
