President, Fratelli Rossetti

Born 23rd July 1956 in Legnano (Milan)

Diego Rossetti, eldest son of Renzo Rossetti, founder of Fratelli Rossetti S.p.A., was appointed  Company President in April 2010.
Fratelli Rossetti SPA boasts a 50 year-long history, and Mr Diego, alongside his brothers Dario and Luca has managed it for over 30 years. He is also vice president of A.N.C.I., the national association of footwear manufacturers. From 2007 to 2011 he served as vice president of Confindustria Alto Milanese and from 2011 he is president of Gruppo Calzaturieri.

After completing his education and seeking experience abroad he joined the family Business dealing in particular with the development of the retail network throughout Italy and abroad. The Company nowadays has 40 direct stores.
Thanks to his work, Fratelli Rossetti was the first Italian fashion house to appear on Madison Avenue in New York with its own single-brand store. In recent years he has started the process of expansion towards the Eastern markets, planning to open 15 stores before 2014 in China, Hong Kong and Macao.

Passionate about sport, in his free time he loves sailing, gliding and trekking. His love for adventure led him to climb Mount Kilimanjaro or cross Nepal by bicycle. It was in this latter country that his passion for photography developed, and his love for this country led him to commit himself, personally, in the creation of a children’s Charity.
