The jewel in France’s crown of beauty and fashion is the Clarins Group.
It is a very French jewel, created in the 1950s and managed by the third generation of the Courtin family.
Clarins employs 10,000 people all over the world, and has a turnover of €1.5 billion.
With the group behind it, the Courtin family now holds the 17th largest fortune in France.
As things stand, it is Virginie Courtin-Clarins who will take over the role of CEO in a few years time.
All members of the family have added ‘Clarins’ to their name out of pride of what they have accomplished.
