Maurizio TAMAGNINI
Head of Southern Europe for Corporate and Investment Banking, Bank of America Merrill Lynch
Mr. Tamagnini joined Merrill Lynch in 1990. He focused his career in the Investment Banking Group and has nineteen years of experience working in New York, London and Milan. He moved to Italy in 2000 and was named Co-Head of Investment Banking Italy. In April 2005 he was named Head of Merrill Lynch Italy and Vice Chairman of European Investment Banking. In his career at Merrill Lynch, Tamagnini was responsible for more than 100 M&A, Debt and Equity transactions for European clients. Mr Tamagnini has a degree in economics Summa cum Laude from the Bocconi University in Milan, where he graduated in 1990 and immediately joined Merrill Lynch.
Italy is one of the most important countries for Bank of America Merrill Lynch in Europe. In 2009, Bank of America Merrill Lynch completed 18 merger & acquisitions, equity and debt capital raisings for Italian Clients, confirming its leadership in the Country. Recently, Merrill Lynch has been awarded "The Best Bank in Italy" by Euromoney and Financial News.
