Fabio LEONCINI
Managing Director, Loro Piana Luxury Goods Unit
Fabio Leoncini is the Managing Director of the Luxury Goods Unit and a Member of the Board of Directors of Loro Piana S.p.A. Since his arrival in 1999, Mr. Leoncini has managed the Luxury Goods Division and developed a directly operated retail network with over 135 stores worldwide.
Previously, Mr. Leoncini was the CEO and Managing Director of Byblos S.p.A and Masvil S.p.A (held by Genny S.p,A.). He turned around each of these companies and restored their profitability.
From 1992 to 1996, as the founding partner of A.C.T., a management consulting firm, he focused on strategic and operational projects in the fashion industry. Prior, he worked for Booz Allen & Hamilton and Eli Lilly & Company.
In 1982, Mr. Leoncini graduated cum laude from the University of Bologna with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. In 1989, he received his MBA, from Columbia Business School in NY, where he graduated Beta Gamma Sigma and was on the Dean's List.
Mr. Leoncini is fluent in Italian, English and French and is on the board of the Luxury Education Foundation in New York.
